At Community Empowering LA (CELA), we have been a pillar for marginalized communities in Los Angeles for years, offering education, legal advocacy, and empowerment to tenants facing abuse, unfair evictions, and substandard housing conditions. Today, that pillar is at risk. This video summarizes who we are and why our work is vital. You will hear the voices of our directors, the tenants who have regained their dignity thanks to our support, and the partner organizations working alongside us.

🚨 THE URGENCY: We are facing a $25,000 deficit. If we cannot close this gap, hundreds of families in Los Angeles risk losing the counseling and legal defense they need to remain in their homes. We cannot allow this community to be left without this critical support.

Who are we? CELA is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building a more just future through education, leadership, and solidarity, with a fully bilingual approach to serve the diversity of Los Angeles.
